1. Information stored on your device

Gameplay data stays on your phone or browser unless you choose to share it (for example, by copying a link). We may store the following locally using your device’s storage (such as localStorage):

• Optional player nicknames you enter for Player 1 and Player 2.
• Recent match results shown in the in-app ranking (player names, round wins, and rounds played for up to four recent matches).
• App preferences, such as sound on/off and whether you dismissed the browser install prompt.

You can clear this data at any time from the App menu (“Reset all data”). Uninstalling the native app or clearing site data in your browser removes it as well.

2. Information collected automatically

When you use the App or visit kinkeda.com, we and our analytics providers may collect limited technical and usage information, including:

• Usage data, such as which pages or surfaces you open, button interactions, rounds and matches completed, and whether you played against the built-in CPU opponent.
• Device and platform data, such as device type, operating system, browser, and whether you are using the web, PWA, or native app.
• Approximate location derived from your IP address when analytics requests are sent.

Gameplay analytics are aggregated and do not include your optional nicknames or ranking history. Round and match events may include non-identifying game statistics (for example, round number, whether a guess matched, or match length).

3. Analytics

We use analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. Our primary analytics provider is Google Analytics. On native iOS, Firebase may also be initialized as part of the app shell.

Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers in your browser or app environment. You can limit analytics collection through your browser settings, device privacy controls, or tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Kinkeda does not show third-party advertising and does not sell your information.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Run core App features (local match history, preferences, offline play via the service worker).
• Provide haptics and sound during gameplay on supported devices.
• Measure traffic, diagnose issues, and improve performance and design.
• Respond to support requests you send us.

5. Sharing of information

We do not share player nicknames, local ranking data, or face-to-face gameplay content with third parties. We may share limited technical data with:

• Analytics providers (such as Google).
• Hosting and content delivery services that serve kinkeda.com and App assets.
• App store platforms when you download or update the native apps.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6. Offline use and third-party resources

The PWA caches game files on your device so you can play offline after installation. Fonts and, on some pages, styling scripts may load from third-party CDNs when you are online. Sound effects are bundled with the App and credited in the About screen.

Those third parties may receive standard request metadata (such as IP address) when your device contacts them.

7. Children

Kinkeda is a casual local multiplayer game and does not require registration. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. Data retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you reset it or remove the App. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics providers’ policies and our configured retention settings.

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your information. Because most gameplay data never leaves your device, the fastest way to delete it is through “Reset all data” in the App.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
